ChatLedger
Last updated 10 October 2026
ChatLedger adds CRM tools to WhatsApp Web. Your messages never leave your browser, and ChatLedger never sends messages for you.
Stays in your browser
Contacts, labels, stages, notes, reminders, quick replies and the catalogue are stored in your browser.
Message text is read only on your screen (for example to spot unanswered chats) and is never stored or sent anywhere.
Sent to our server
Team plan only: the CRM records your team shares, so every member sees the same data: contacts (name and chat id, labels, stage, deal value, custom fields, assignment, notes, and the times of the last message in and out for reply-time stats), reminders (contact, due time and note), and the team’s labels, stages, quick replies and catalogue. Notes can be end-to-end encrypted so that we cannot read them. Message text is never synced.
Like every extension we make: your install id, your licence if you have one, usage counts for plan limits, and optional “Help improve” data if you turn it on. See the main privacy policy.
Google permissions
Asked for only when you use the feature, and used only for it:
drive.file: Google Sheets export: creates and updates only the spreadsheets ChatLedger makes for you, directly from your browser.
ChatLedger’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don’t use Google user data for advertising, don’t sell it, don’t let people read it except with your consent, for security or where the law requires, and don’t use it to train AI models.
Your choices
Uninstalling removes everything the extension stored in your browser. To have the data on our server deleted, email us.
We never sell your data or use it for advertising. ChatLedger follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
